Suomen Lähikauppa Oy is the third largest grocery store operator in Finland.  We want to point the way towards better local stores – and make them more appealing for shoppers.

We believe in a bright future for local stores in Finland. People want to have services nearby. If the local store provides quality service, it makes a good profit.

We operate stores all over Finland and our net sales in 2010 amounted to MEUR 1,146.9. Suomen Lähikauppa employs more than  5,600 retail professionals.

We strive to provide high-quality, diverse local services – in urban and rural areas alike. Groceries form the core of our operations, but increasingly we also offer other services, including pick-up points for items ordered online.

We have formulated a mission statement to give expression to what we strive for and why.
